- After complete Downloading, find the just downloaded installation package file from Mac OS X finder
- Right click on it and say “Show Package Contents”
- Find “ShareSupport” folder and open it.
- Find disk image file called “installESD.dmg”. This is image of Mac OS X Lion which we are going to burn in DVD.
- Copy and paste this “installESD.dmg” to you Mac OS X desktop.
- Launch disk utility and locate “installESD.dmg” (or drag that image in left side of the bar of disk utility). Alternately, any third party tool such “Stellar Clone” can also work for you.
- Insert a compatible DVD+/-R or RW blank disk
- Now pop in the blank DVD and select installESD.dmg and click “burn”
Wait for the flash message: Burn Successful and DVD to come out!
